Description
This guitar was build by Otto Rauch in 2014 based on the model “Torres 1885 Especial”. The sides and the back are made of selected Madagascar rosewood. The top is Italian spruce wood from the “Rosengarten” (Dolomites) which is scalloped (thinner on the outside than in the middle of the soundboard). An outstanding feature is the fretboard made of african rosewood. A contrast to the dark front of the head, is the veneered back – manufactured from Birdseye Maple. The guitar has a beautiful french-polish finish. Impressive volume and rich, deep basses as well as sparkling trebles characterizes the balanced sound of this fine guitar.
