Description
Pedro Muriel is one of the most talented Spanish guitar maker of the new generation. He has now established his workshop in Herrera, a small town in the province of Sevilla, where he builds mainly flamenco guitars. He was the disciple of Francisco Sánchez, and had the chance to study a lot of great guitars from the Spanish masters Santos Hernandez, Marcelo Barbero, Francisco Barba, etc. Those studies are one of his biggest sources of inspiration and Pedro is expressing his whole knowledge in building subtle and complex sounding instruments.
The top is made of German spruce with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of cypress, whose beauty and quality are simply perfect. The sound of this guitar is really surprising. A very special flamenco timbre with a strong personality and a very mature tone. The tuners are made by Alessi. A hard-shell case is included. This guitar is Cites-free (CF).
