Description
Rafael Moreno was born in Tanger, Spain in 1954. At the age of six his family moved to El Farque and after a short period there his family moved to Granada. At the age of 13 he began an apprenticeship at the workshop of Manuel López Bellido. In the following years he worked together with many well known luthiers such as Antonio Marín Montero, Antonio Reinosa Velázquez and Francisco Santiago Marín. Finally in 1976 he opened his own workshop in Calle Jesus y Maria, Granada. Today he is internationally well-known for his master guitars. This spruce-top flamenco guitar was made in 2003 and has Indian rosewood back and sides. The bridge has twelve symmetric holes to fix the strings. The basses are well-balanced and harmonize very well with the brilliant trebles. The easy playability of this guitar makes it a perfect instruments for professional virtuosos. All French-polished. The tuning-machines are made by Schaller. A case is included.
