Description
Rafal Turkowiak was born in Golanice near Leszno, Poland, on the 9th of January 1966. His father, a carpenter, and grandfather, a wheelwright, had a significant influence on him in the field of carpentry and wood technology. Twenty years of guitar-making and experimenting with a very scientific and modern approach brought him to develop construction concepts improving the guitar’s resonance: the “WAVE” structure.
This wonderful instrument is really one of a kind. With a mesmerizing arched back made of Ziricote, giving the center stage a wide light sapwood part in the middle, it really has a unique look. This guitar number “417” is surprisingly light, under 1600 grams, and incredibly responsive. With its Cedar/Balsa double-top, this “Queen of guitars” model has an impressively powerful and projecting voice. Moreover, this 64 cm scale version offers superb playability for an ideal cocktail of comfort and performance.
