Description
Roberto Pozzi was born in 1970 in Mariano Comense, Italy. Already very early he got interested in the construction of instruments and started his studies at the “Scuola Civica di Liuteria” in Milan. During his studies he concentrated on the construction of replicas of the guitars made by Antonio de Torres, Enrique Garcia and Pietro Gallinotti. Inspired by those different influences, he developed his own instruments.
This simple yet beautiful instrument offers a broad tonal spectrum and excellent sonority. It has a high-grade spruce soundboard and striking Indian rosewood back and sides. The ornamentations of this instrument are relatively simple yet tastefully executed. With its beautiful and controlled overtones, this fine instrument is delightful to play. This guitar had a few superficial hair line cracks perfectly repaired on the soundboard and the French polish was refreshed. It is indeed a unique multi-stringed instrument suitable for many different styles and a broad repertoire.
