After the death of Santos Hernandez in 1943, his widow continued the workshop. She employed Marcelo Barbero to complete the guitars, which could not have been finished by Santos Hernandez. After three years Barbero left the workshop and it was Feliciano Bayon who continued the workshop afterwards. After his aunt died, he sold his guitars under the name of “Sobrinos de Santos Hernandez”. This special flamenco guitar is from 1982 and was made by Feliciano Bayon. All of his experience in constructing guitars as well as his studies of many guitars of famous luthiers such as Antonio de Torres, were incorporated into the construction of this guitar. The guitar has normal wear but no cracks. It convinces with its powerful sound and typical Spanish character.
