Product Description

Stefan Nitschke is a young German luthier who learned the art of guitar-making under the guidance of Gerhard Oldiges. Stefan Nitschke has been building guitars for over 10 years now. This very special guitar is built in a traditional way, in the style of Antonio de Torres. The central motive of the “Torres” rosette is made of green and red shavings that can also be seen on the back and the bridge. The top is made of very fine hazel spruce. Back and sides are made of Indian Rosewood. The sound is warm and deep. The body resonance lay between E and F, what is amazingly low! It is a sublime guitar with a poignant tone and a blissful playability.
It is all French-polished. The high-quality tuning-machines with bone buttons are made by Klaus Scheller. We are very pleased to be able to present this beautiful guitar in our shop.
