Stefan Nitschke learned the art of guitar building under the guidance of Gerhard Oldiges. Over the last 15 years he has built a wide variety of instruments with a focus on aesthetics and tonal balance. The influence of the great masters of the 19th and 20th century, such as Antonio de Torres and Francisco Simplicio, can be found in the subtlety of the sound of his guitars and in the finesse of his skills.
It is a pure joy to play and admire this wonderful guitar, named “La Luella”. By choosing highest quality and rare woods Stefan Nitschke has created a colorful and symphonic work of art.Back and sides are made of (CITES-certified) Brazilian rosewood varying in the nuances from dark chocolate to vivid orange. The fine-grained spruce top gives the guitar a wide, open sound. This guitar has a deep singing and silky bass paired with smooth and playful trebles.
