Description
Tobias Braun was born in Holzminden, Germany in 1960. Shortly after, his family moved to Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna, Austria. In 1983 he built his first concert guitar and a year later he completed a course about guitar making taught by José Romanillos. A second course followed in 1988, and a third course in 1989. In the same year, he completed his master’s certificate in Vienna.
This Braun model has a European Spruce of top quality with bear claw figuring. The top that was treated thermally, not only giving it a beautiful look but also a very open and equilibrated sound. Back and sides are made of ziricote. The responsiveness is very fast and direct. The treble sings and the middle of the guitar range is rich and colorful. It’s an excellent guitar for performers, collectors or aficionados. The guitar is all French-polished and is fitted with Rubner tuners. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.
