Description
Viktor Fogas is a Hungarian luthier and has been building guitars for more than 10 years. He works alone as a full-time classical guitar maker in his workshop in Budapest, and makes only about 8 guitars per year. His double-top and lattice-braced concert guitars are built in his own style and with a number of different design options. Viktor is one of the most innovative luthiers of Hungary and was the first one to develop double-top guitars in his country. His guitars are surprisingly loud and powerful, but he does not sacrifices tone for volume. The instruments have a wide palette of exceptionally beautiful tone colours with an open sound, rich overtones, and great responsiveness. Therefore he designed a unique asymmetric lattice bracing system without carbon reinforcement. With his all-wood lattice construction he managed to unite a traditional Spanish-like character with modern power and balance.
This “Especial Grande” is a very special model with plenty of real abalone inlays in the rosette, bridge, head and heel. The rare 635 mm short scale and the slightly curved fretboard make this guitar especially easy to play. Other extras are the armrest, stainless steel frets, 12 hole bridge and sound port. This guitar is 100% “Cites free”. Hard case is included.
