Description
Walter Verreydt built his first guitars in 1985. Primarily he was teacher for woodworking and music lover that led him to built his first guitar and to became a luthier. Since 1988 Walter teaches classical guitar making at the Centrum voor Muziekinstrumentenbouw in Puurs (Belgium). Next to the necessary basics he tries to bring his students to affinity for the instrument and the craftsmanship. He studied a lot guitars of famous luthiers like Ignacio Fleta, Robert Bouchet, Hernandez y Aguado and many more. Also he had very good relationships with Daniel Friederich and José Romanillos that helped him a lot to discuss and to develop his own ideas. His guitars are handmade in the Spanish tradition. Every instrument is the product of personal growth and constant studies.
The quality of workmanship and the fine decorative details are outstanding. This guitar is a very powerful but still traditional sounding guitar with a lot of sustain. It is extremely easy to play.
The tuning machines are made by Sloane. A white Hiscox case is included.
