Description
Woonsun Lee is one of the most prominent Korean luthier. He started building classical guitars back in 2004 before finally opening his own workshop in 2009, where he has been building high-quality handmade guitars ever since. His trademarks are his recognizable origami lotus rosette and his extremely precise craftsmanship.
This guitar, number 190, has a very open, warm, and powerful sound. Its excellent balance, as well as its power, give it a bold and mature sound character, especially on the first string. In addition, the rich yet smooth basses have a sonorous and refined timbre. This is an exceedingly accomplished guitar of high caliber, possessing all the desirable aspects of an excellent classical guitar: tone quality, sustain, sympathetic resonances, the richness of contrast, balance, and expressiveness.
