Nikolai Studenikin
My name is Nikolai Studenikin and I was born in Simferopol, Crimea, in 1992. After my school years, I first studied at the Gnessins College in Moscow with Anastasia Bardina and from 2015 at the HfMT Cologne/Aachen with Prof. Hans-Werner Huppertz. I completed my bachelor’s degree there in 2019 with top marks. I am currently studying there in the 4th semester of my Master’s degree. I took part in numerous master classes with Aniello Desiderio, Scott Tennant, and Goran Krivokapic, among others.
I won third prize in the “Guitar Plus” competition at the Twents Guitar Festival in Holland and was a semi-finalist in the Koblenz International Guitar Competition and the Gevelsberg Guitar Festival Competition. I began my teaching career in 2010 as a private teacher in Moscow. I have been teaching in Germany since 2015, currently at the Jugendmusikschule Heinsberg. I perform as a soloist or in ensembles, e.g. with the singer and violinist Franziska Groß and with the guitarist Vladislav Fedorov.
