Description
Amélie Bouvret is a talented French guitar maker based in Châlon sur Saône, France. She received her training at the prestigious guitar-making school in Puurs, Belgium. Amélie gained a solid knowledge of guitar making from master luthiers Walter Verreydt and Karel Dedain. Her guitars are of great sensitivity and a special charisma. Fascinated by French lutherie and especially by the guitars of Robert Bouchet, Amelie’s instruments convey a great elegance and tonal refinement. In addition, her guitars are very powerful and have all the qualities of great concert instruments.
This guitar is remarkable. It is new and in perfect condition and has been in Amelie’s workshop as a reference guitar for years. Because of its incredibly open sound and beautiful appearance, it is easy to understand why Amelie wanted to spend some time with this guitar before entrusting it to us. The traditional bracing with Robert Bouchet’s ” bar d’âme ” gives the instrument an amazing balance. Likewise fascinating is the first string, which sings beautifully in the highest registers. In addition, the notably easy playability is very striking. In short, this French guitar is an outstanding instrument.
