Description
At HANIKA craftsmanship is understood as custom work and sound as art. A guitar from the famous Baiersdorf manufacture is a symbol of quality and craftsmanship tradition. Since 1953 it has been the basis for the success story of the company, combined with trend-setting innovations. Master plucked instrument maker Armin Hanika took over the company from his father in 1993 and has been building classical guitars of outstanding quality ever since.
The Armin Hanika Flamenco KF is an excellent German-made Flamenco guitar. Its back and sides are manufactured of the finest cherry wood, and the top is made of excellent spruce. Thanks to its thin spruce soundboard, the Flamenco KF achieves an outstanding response with full sound and good separation. This guitar satisfies the highest demands; it is recommended for both conscious Flamenco players and beginners looking for an instrument that will accompany them for a lifetime.
Some specs: the soundboard has a traditional 7-fan bracing, which, together with the especially low inverted bridge, is ideal for playing percussive rhythmics. Moreover, the unique design of this bridge, with its low weight, improves a better transfer of resonance to the top. The black-bronzed, bearing-mounted, and bushed “Rubner R2-SE-Teflon” tuning machines with engraved edgings, the thermo-modified alder neck reinforced with the finest hardwood, the fretboard made of selected Grenadil wood, and the solid ebony head plate in the flamenco design are just a few of the special quality highlights of the Flamenco KF. The body has been sealed with a UV-curing high-gloss acrylic varnish, and the top has been finished with Armin Hanika’s new glossy “spray-painted shellac”. A full pick-guard (golpeador) is standard on this guitar, and it is delivered with a protecting and easy-to-carry Hanika GigBag.
