Description
Bernhard Kresse is one of the most sought-after luthiers worldwide in terms of 19th century guitar copies. He restored an impressive number of period guitars throughout his career and gathered an extensive knowledge on these instruments and many of his guitars were recorded by international guitarists in the past years.
This 2017 Stauffer Model built by Bernhard Kresse is an extremely fine concert instrument. It has a wonderful clear sound and a typical Stauffer timbre. This guitar is very responsive and has an unbelievable projection for such a little instrument. It is very comfortable as the neck is adjustable and the fingerboard slightly elevated (on the model of Stauffer’s patent). The Pegheds™ tuning pegs make tuning very easy and stable. It is therefore an ideal concert guitar for romantic repertoire aficionados. A suitable hard-shell case is included.
