Description
Ennio Giovanetti has been building guitars since 1998 in his workshop in Sariano di Gropparello, near Piacenza (Italy). He studied guitar making in Milan with Enrico Bottelli, where he had the opportunity to get to know many guitars by Antonio de Torres, Simplicio, Garcia, and many others. His guitars are built in the traditional way but are well recognizable by their own elements. Behind the tie block, for example, a part of the bridge was excavated to optimize the angle of the strings and thus promote vibrations.
This bewitching guitar is a special model with an exquisite selection of woods that we have specially commissioned: Back and sides are made of wonderful Madagascar rosewood and the top is made of gorgeous bearclaw spruce. The instrument possesses a wonderful elegance in tone and appearance as well as a touching tonal clarity. The complex sound together with the long sustain and the impressive homogeneity between the registers makes it suitable for a wide repertoire. In addition, the 64cm scale adds to this already very comfortable guitar. Left-hand fingerings truly get effortless, and this guitar will please any guitarist looking for a delicate traditional concert guitar with ideal playability.
