Description
Giovanni Tacchi is the son of the very prominent and great luthier Andrea Tacchi who builds his guitars in Florence Italy. Andrea Tacchi was in close contact with Robert Bouchet and Daniel Friederich during the 80s, with whom he developed his craftsmanship and his artistic taste. Later, he kept learning from other important guitar makers such as Ignacio Fleta, José Luis Romanillos and Robert Ruck. Giovanni Tacchi has developed and refined his skills in the most incredible way. His instruments are mature, with a grandiose sound full of colour and dynamics. The craftsmanship is on the very highest level.
This is a remarkable Robert Bouchet interpretation by Giovanni Tacchi. At first sight, the choice of beautiful flame maple for back and sides catches the eye, which not only brings many positive aspects to the sound, but also makes the guitar stand out aesthetically. The medullary rays of the spruce top harmonize superbly with the flamed maple body. It is clearly evident that Giovanni has already achieved a very high level of craftsmanship at his still young age. The choice of colors for the ornaments on this instrument also reveal how mature Giovanni is as an artisan, exemplified by the green inlay in the rosette, which forms a wonderful harmony with the honey-colored spruce top. This instrument has smooth, airy yet naturally radiant trebles that blend very well with the crisp mids and warm basses. Due to its excellent condition, showing only superficial signs of playing, this guitar is a unique and rare creation that is hard to find.
