Description
Kazuo Sato is an internationally renowned luthier who apprenticed with Kuniharu Nobe in Japan from 1965 to 1971. After that period, he moved to David Rubio’s workshop in England, where he worked along with another famous luthier: Paul Fischer. In 1974 he established his own workshop in Germany. He is still based in Germany and now also works together with his son Hideo Sato.
This 2019 Kazuo Sato Prelude model has an Alpine Spruce top and back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. The design is characterized by a simple elegance. The guitar is equipped with Alessi tuners and has a French-polish finish. It responds quickly, is strong, balanced and has an equilibrated character.
