Description
Solveig & Andreas Kirschner are among the best and most sought-after German luthiers of double-top guitars. Their philosophy as a luthier is focused on the sound quality and on optimizing the tone of the classical guitar. They are therefore closely working with professional guitarists since many years in order to build instruments that fulfil the artists’ expectations.
This model has been developed as a cost-effective alternative to the more elaborate instruments from the Kirschner workshop and offers high sound quality and best playability e.g. for students or guitarists with a limited budget. Built by Solveig and Andreas in their workshop and fully French polished, it is showing a very clean craftmanship as well as a a visually clear and pure aesthetic. A nice feature of this guitar is the cedar double top, which is combined with a traditional spruce fan bracing. This results in a powerful, warm sound with beautiful timbres. Only some superficial playing marks can be found on the soundboard. The playability is perfect and the instrument is excellently balanced, so that this guitar is ready to be played.
