Description
Michel Brück is one of the most sought-after German luthiers. At the beginning of his career, he focused entirely on building traditional guitars in the style of Antonio de Torres, among others. Later on, after the turn of the millennium, he became more and more interested in double-top construction and started to build his first guitars in this style. Today, Michel Brück’s double-top guitars are highly demanded all over the world, resulting in a waiting period of up to ten years from the time of order until holding one’s instrument in hands. The sound qualities and workmanship are outstanding.
Radiating a potent blend of power and sonority, the instrument is the epitome of responsiveness, reflecting every nuance of the player’s touch.
Its intricate design is a showcase of Brück’s profound expertise and dedication to the art of luthiery. Anchored by a top-tier cedar soundboard, the guitar gains additional allure with its Madagascar rosewood back and sides, a rare and distinguished wood known for its exceptional acoustic properties.
The Double-Top, a signature feature, is exceptionally receptive, responding instantaneously to the player’s right-hand techniques. This, in concert with an impeccably designed neck, ensures that playing this guitar feels intuitive, smooth, and utterly satisfying.
Aesthetically, while a minor hairline crack on the Madagascar rosewood back is present (very hard to spot), it does not detract from the guitar’s overall allure. Beyond this, the instrument only shows superficial signs of play, indicating its cherished history and promising a brilliant future. For those with discerning tastes and an appreciation for world-class craftsmanship, this Michel Brück creation is nothing short of a masterpiece.
