Description
This lefthand guitar is based on the Special Edition model by Roy Fankhänel. The guitar has a cutaway and an elevated fretboard that makes it very easy to play the higher notes. The easy playability of Roy’s guitars makes them perfect instruments for professional virtuosos but also hobby musicians. His guitars are built in a traditional Spanish way but they have very powerful and modern sound. The bridge has twelve symmetric holes to fix the strings and a bone saddle that is formed for better compensation.
In addition this guitar has a variety of special features which can be found in this manner only on this guitar. The decorative elements like the mother of pearl rosette and ornaments of the binding were specifically designed, and give the instrument a beautiful modern look. The bridge with its 12-hole-drilling fits perfectly into the overall picture of the guitar. Eye-catching are also the purflings made of Indian rosewood, maple and pear wood which stress the precious character of the guitar. Back and sides are made of Caribbean rosewood and the top is made of cedar. The tuning machines are made by Rubner. A hardshellcase by Hiscox is included.
