Description
Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been building guitars since the age of fourteen. He was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany, the son of a guitar maker, where he grew up with guitars at an early age. Over the years he developed a great passion and expertise for this instrument. Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been living and working in China for several years, where he builds handmade guitars of astonishing quality in a small manufactory.
This model has been developed as a cost-effective alternative to the more elaborate instruments from the Jellinghaus line and offers high sound quality and best playability e.g. for students or guitarists with a limited budget. The cedar top offers a strong yet colorful tone, incredibly sensitive to vibrato and changes in dynamics. It is therefore an expressive and reliable guitar. The elevated fretboard is a nifty feature that enhances the playability above the 12th fret.
