Description
Angelo Vailati belongs to the younger generation of highly qualified Italian luthiers, who have already established themselves internationally and are among the most outstanding representatives of the Italian guitar building scene. After learning from the best and acquiring knowledge under the guidance of Enrico Bottelli, José Luis Romanillos, and Daniele Chiesa, Angelo opened his own workshop in Bologna, Italy. His guitars are strongly inspired by the great masters of the guitar building tradition. The craftsmanship is precise, delicate and allows him to express his great talent in building tasteful guitars.
Among the classical guitars with a sweet, round sound character, this Vailati is certainly one of the most inspiring and stimulating instruments we have had the pleasure to offer recently. The tones are almost everlasting, with a very even sustain over the entire fingerboard. It is extremely easy to produce a full and harmonically well-rounded sound on this guitar, which opens new possibilities for phrasing and allows the guitarist to completely rediscover the classical guitar repertoire. Playing comfort, sustain, volume and that little something extra – this guitar has exactly all that.
