Description
Nils Schebesta is a talented young guitar maker who started his apprenticeship as a luthier 10 years ago. After finishing his apprenticeship he studied guitar making in Markneukirchen and refined his skills during various internships and workshops. Before he moved into his own workshop in Leipzig at the beginning of 2019, he worked for a violin maker for several years. From his workshop he builds instruments inspired by both the German and French tradition. Some features that stands out is the usage of elevated fretboards for easy access in the upper registers, the guitars are all responsive and they have a sober, mature design.
This instrument is surprisingly light considering the wood choice of ebony for the back and sides. The basses are full and round without becoming too heavy or dense, paired with lyrical trebles that have an airy quality to them, makes the guitar a real joy to play. When inspecting the nooks and crannies of the guitar, it is put together with an experts eyes and hands. A clean and charming design is what meets the eye. Easy to play with a superb access to the upper registers, furthermore, just look at that gorgeous back and sides. One could just drown in the well thought of aesthetics of the instrument. We are sure that this instrument will suit anyone who looks for a great sounding guitar within a very reasonable price range.
