Description
Jurgen Winter is a guitar maker from Antwerpen in Belgium. He took part in some of José Luis Romanillos’ workshops in Cordoba in the 1980s. Very little is known about his work and the number of the guitars he built is very limited. In this regard this instrument is a rare example of the Belgium guitar-making of the 1980s.
This very guitar was built in 1989. It is known that Jurgen Winter took part in one of José Luis Romanillos’ workshop that year and this guitar was probably very influenced by the master’s education. It is a clear and open guitar with a very mature sound. It has a sophisticated tone with lyrical trebles and expansive basses. It was thoroughly and professionally played during the past years and is in excellent condition with no cracks nor repairs.
