Construction and Materials

Duke Classical guitars feature a range of sizes and finishes designed to accompany guitarists at various career stages. All models include a fully solid top, with options for partial or fully solid body combinations. The top materials are sourced from carefully selected regions: alpine spruce from the Swiss Grisons and cedarwood from Canada. All woods come from certified cultivation and include the corresponding certificates.

Before delivery, each guitar receives attention from a luthier in Baiersdorf according to a defined process, including fret dressing and polishing, plus optimal string action adjustment. This pre-delivery setup ensures playing comfort from the first note.

Hardware and Components

Duke guitars are equipped with machine heads from Der Jung, a Taiwan-based company that has established a reputation in the market. After more than six decades manufacturing machine heads for various companies, Der Jung has carved a niche with products that combine quality and competitive pricing.

The instruments come factory-strung with Savarez 500ARJ Corum Alliance strings in mixed tension, featuring high tension Corum basses and normal tension Alliance trebles. The Corum basses utilize silver-plated wrap wire wound over a nylon core, while the Alliance trebles are constructed from carbon-fiber composite.
