The Siccas Luthiers Origin Lattice Cedar is an accessible classical guitar with a modern, responsive character and a strong focus on warmth, clarity, sustain, and musical balance. Built with a cedar top, lattice construction, and three-layer Indian rosewood back and sides, it offers a clear attack, reliable projection, and a lively voice that responds easily to the player’s touch. The neck is reinforced with three pieces of carbon fiber.
Unlike many instruments in this price class, where an overly thick soundboard can restrict openness and immediacy, the Origin Lattice Cedar has been designed to speak freely from the beginning. Its carefully considered soundboard construction gives the guitar an easy response and a natural sense of release, so the player does not feel that the instrument resists the touch. Notes start readily, carry with confidence, and retain a focused tonal core without losing the warmth and directness associated with cedar.
Its sound is shaped by firm, punchy basses, lively trebles, and a well-judged balance between clarity and sustain. With an air body frequency around G to G sharp, the guitar feels focused and controlled, while still allowing enough flexibility for expressive phrasing. The dynamic range supports everything from delicate pianissimo passages to a full and confident forte, giving the player a wide musical palette without sacrificing register separation.
