At HANIKA craftsmanship is understood as custom work and sound as art. A guitar from the famous Baiersdorf manufacture is a symbol of quality and craftsmanship tradition. Since 1953 it has been the basis for the success story of the company, combined with trend-setting innovations. Master plucked instrument maker Armin Hanika took over the company from his father in 1993 and has been building classical guitars of outstanding quality ever since.
This HE Torres Custom model was specially built for Siccas Guitras, as part of Hanikas’s professional Line representing the peak in guitar-making sound and craftsmanship. This Special Edition has a unique look and construction. It features a beautiful spruce top and striking maple back and sides. The maple headplate and unique rosette add a touch of elegance and sophistications. As expected from Hanika, playability is excellent: It has a standard scale of 65cm and a nut width of 51mm to offer a slightly more comfortable neck compared to the standard 52mm. The HE Torres Custom offers a long sustain and great clarity across the register, with a confident tone inspired by Torres’ construction style.
