Paolo Besson arrived at Siccas Guitars at just 18 years old — already the winner of nine international first prizes and a face familiar to French audiences from his appearance on France 2's Prodiges, where he was hailed as "l'ambassadeur de la guitare classique." In this concert he performs J.S. Bach, a work by Stephen Goss, and Giulio Regondi's Introduction and Caprice — a programme that reveals the full expressive range of a young guitarist of exceptional maturity.

Born in 2006 near Lyon, Besson studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris at age 17. He was inspired by attending a recital by Roland Dyens in Lyon in 2015 at the age of nine.
