Siccas Guitars Giveaway – Official Rules (Terms & Conditions)
1. Organizer
This giveaway (the “Promotion”) is organized by:

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube. By entering, participants release YouTube from any liability related to this Promotion.
2. Eligibility
- Open to individuals 18 years or older at the time of entry.
- Employees of Siccas Guitars GmbH, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible.
- Void where prohibited by law.
Participants must have a valid YouTube account and comply with YouTube’s policies and Community Guidelines.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion starts on 10th December 2025 at 4 pm (Europe/Berlin time) and ends on 21st December at 11:59 pm (Europe/Berlin time).
Entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period are not eligible.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Watch the giveaway video on the Siccas Guitars YouTube channel.
- Follow the entry instructions stated in the video and in the video description (the “Entry Requirements”): Leave one (1) comment on the giveaway video stating which classical guitar piece (including transcriptions) holds a special place for them, and why.
Important rules:
- No purchase necessary to enter or win.
- One (1) entry per person / per YouTube account. Multiple comments do not increase chances of winning.
- Accounts used to enter must allow the Organizer to contact the participant (e.g., the comment must be visible and the account must not be set in a way that prevents contact).
- The Organizer may disqualify entries that appear to be generated by bots, scripts, fake accounts, comment spam, or any abusive behavior.
5. Prize
- One (1) Siccas Luthiers guitar: Recital Traditional Cedar
- Approximate retail value: €1,149
- No cash alternative.
- Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Shipping, Customs, Import Taxes
- The Organizer will cover standard shipping costs to the winner’s delivery address.
- The winner is solely responsible for any costs charged by the destination country, including (where applicable): customs duties, import taxes, local VAT/sales tax, brokerage/handling fees, and any other charges.
- If the winner refuses to pay required import/customs charges and the shipment is returned, the prize will be considered forfeited.
- The Organizer may exclude delivery to countries/regions where shipping is not legally possible or reasonably feasible (e.g., due to carrier restrictions, sanctions, or import/export regulations).
7. Winner Selection, Notification & Verification
- The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries.
- The draw will take place on December 22nd, 2025, during the recording of the Siccas Guitars Weekly Guitar Meeting video.
- The official winner announcement will be made public on December 26th, 2025, when the corresponding video is published on the Siccas Guitars YouTube channel. Until that time, the identity of the winner will not be publicly disclosed.
Initial Contact:
- After the public announcement, the Organizer will contact the winner by replying directly to the winner’s original YouTube comment on the giveaway video.
- The winner must then send an email to info@siccasguitars.com using the YouTube username associated with the winning comment.
Verification Procedure:
- After the Organizer receives the winner’s email, the Organizer will send a unique verification code to that email address.
- To verify their identity, the winner must reply to their original winning YouTube comment (in the same comment thread) with the exact verification code provided.
- Only once the Organizer confirms that the verification code has been posted from the same YouTube account that submitted the winning entry will the winner be considered verified.
- If the winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, or fails verification, the Organizer may select an alternative winner.
Required details:
The Organizer may request the winner’s:
- full name,
- shipping address,
- email address,
- and proof of age (18+) if reasonably necessary.
Failure to provide accurate information may result in disqualification.
Scam Notice:
The Organizer will never ask the winner to provide payment details or pay the Organizer to receive the prize. Any communication not coming from info@siccasguitars.com should be disregarded.
8. Personal Data / Privacy Notice (GDPR)
The Organizer will process personal data only for administering this Promotion and delivering the prize, as required by YouTube’s contest requirements.
Controller: Siccas Guitars GmbH (address and email as above).
Purpose: running the Promotion, selecting/confirming the winner, contacting the winner, shipping the prize, and handling legal/administrative obligations.
Data categories: YouTube username/comment (public on YouTube), and for the winner: name, shipping address, email address, and (if needed) age verification.
Legal basis: performance of the Promotion (and prize delivery) and/or legitimate interests in administering the Promotion; compliance with legal obligations where applicable (e.g., shipping, accounting).
Recipients: shipping/logistics providers and carriers as necessary for delivery; no sale of personal data.
Retention: winner data will be stored only as long as necessary to administer the Promotion and fulfill legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
Rights: participants have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability where applicable, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. General Conditions
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, platform changes, or any other factor beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Promotion.
The Organizer may disqualify participants who violate these Official Rules or attempt to manipulate the entry process.
The Organizer is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, or undeliverable communications or shipments due to circumstances outside its reasonable control, or for platform/technical issues affecting participation.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Organizer is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.
In cases of slight negligence, the Organizer is liable only for the breach of an essential contractual obligation, and liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
For consumers: mandatory consumer protection provisions and mandatory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
12. Acceptance of Rules
By participating, entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
