Gabriel Hernández Jimenez lives in Paracho Michoacán (Mexico), where he was born in 1965. Today he’s one the best known luthiers from Mexico. His guitars are played by guitarist with international reputation. This requinto guitar was built in 2014 and has a cedar top. Back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. A special feature is the elevated fretboard that facilitates playing in the high registers and improves the sound in this area noticeable. The tuning machines are made by Rubner. A hardshell case is included.
