Kim Lissarrague is a recognized Australian luthier. He began building guitars at the very early age of thirteen and is now established in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Kim makes a limited number of high-quality guitars per year and developed his own designs based on the "Australian School" of guitar making. In other words, his guitars are lattice-braced with an arched back, offering a huge projection, clarity, and sustain.
This 2020 lattice guitar is in excellent condition. It is crafted with an exceptionally thin and responsive cedar top and beautiful dark-grained Ziricote back and sides. The expressive power emanating from this guitar is simply amazing and this instrument by Kim Lissarrague definitely belongs in our top 5 most powerful guitars. Not only does it impress with its volume of sound, but, also with its very rich and flexible tone with great dynamic possibilities.
