Overview
The American luthier Pepe Romero Junior. is the son of the renowned guitarist of the same name, Pepe Romero Senior. Since his childhood, he has had access to the guitars of his father's collection, which contains some instruments of the greatest guitar builders of our time. Inspired by Antonio de Torres, Santos Hernandez, Miguel Rodriguez Jr and many more, and having had the best exemplars in his hands, his guitars are based on a deep understanding of the history of the classical guitar.
This guitar made by Pepe Jr. is a real jewel.
It was built in 2004 bearing the number 63 and is very interesting not only because of its construction. The combination of cedar for the top and maple for back and sides is quite rare and almost unique to Pepe's guitars. With the clear differentiation of each note and the clarity of the trebles, this wonderful Romero guitar reminds a little of venerable instruments like the lute. This instrument is in very good condition, without any cracks and shows only some playing marks on the top and a few marks on the back. It is very lightweight and has a delicate and immediate sound.
