Roberto de Miranda - 2024 REG Limited Edition 2024

Overview

Born in Milan in 1960, Roberto graduated in 1984 from the 'School of Lutherie of Vignate'. He further honed his craft by studying under Maestro José Luis Romanillos in Spain during 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1996, specializing in Antonio Torres guitars. In 1998, Roberto began implementing his own innovative construction projects designed to enhance sound volume while preserving the timbral qualities and tone of the instruments. His efforts culminated in winning the 'golden prize' for lutherie at the 2014 Alessandria International Guitar Convention. Renowned guitarists such as Lorenzo Micheli, Matteo Mela, Frederic Zigante, and Drew Henderson, among others, play his guitars.

The "Limited Edition 2024" guitar is a powerful instrument rooted in traditional design, featuring an internal structure of five beams and a bridge plate. Its soundboard is crafted from Val di Fiemme spruce, seasoned for 30 years, ensuring an exceptional tonal quality and resonance. The back and sides are made from striking Wenge wood, adding both visual appeal and acoustic depth. This guitar is designed to satisfy players seeking a high level of power and responsiveness, while also offering ease of play. Despite being pre-loved, this instrument is in mint condition, making it a fantastic option for musicians who value both performance and craftsmanship.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
