Carlotta Dalia

Carlotta Dalia was born in Grosseto, Italy, on 25 August 1999. She began classical guitar studies at the age of eight with Alessandro Nobili, later continuing with Alessandro Benedettelli, Fabio Montomoli and subsequently Aniello Desiderio.

She currently studies with Giampaolo Bandini.

At the age of twelve she performed her first solo recital and has since taken part in numerous festivals in Italy and abroad. She attends the Bachelor programme at the Academic Institute of Musical Studies “R. Franci” in Siena, Italy. She was admitted with honours at the age of fourteen and is now in her third year in the class of Marco Del Greco.

Since 2013 she regularly attends the Improvers Course with Carlo Marchione at the Municipal School of Arts in Rome. She has participated in masterclasses with Leo Brouwer, Aniello Desiderio, Marcin Dylla, Gianpaolo Bandini, Adriano Del Sal and Arturo Tallini.

From an early age she has taken part in national and international competitions, achieving numerous distinctions:
