Competitions

He competes regularly, and the results have been building. In 2024 he took awards at the Art Music, Art Set and Poqrik Qayl competitions. 2026 brought two first prizes, at the Art Music Competition and at the 17th World Open Music Competition, along with a place in the semi-finals of the CGWC. His stated next target is the competition of the Guitar Foundation of America.

Concerts and teaching

He performs as a soloist at cultural and educational institutions across Armenia, among them solo concerts at the Shahumyan School of Art, the White House and the Ararat Regional Library. Alongside his own studies he teaches at music schools, and he takes part in masterclasses and in a range of musical projects.

For a guitarist still at college, that is a considerable amount of stage time – and it tends to show later.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
