Guy Hirschberger – a young Israeli guitarist with international promise
Born in 1999 in Israel, guitarist Guy Hirschberger represents a new generation of musicians combining technical mastery with expressive sensitivity. His musical journey began at the age of eleven, and within two years, he joined the class of Irit Even Tov at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where his development as both soloist and ensemble musician took shape.
Education and early achievements
From an early age, Guy was active on stage, performing as a soloist as well as in trios, quartets and larger guitar ensembles under the direction of Irit Even Tov. Each year he has participated in the Winter Festival of the Jerusalem Academy, appearing in numerous ensemble performances. Between 2015 and 2017 he performed at major venues such as the Israel Museum and appeared several times on the national classical music station Kol Ha’Musica with various guitar ensembles.

Since 2013, Guy Hirschberger has participated in both national and international guitar competitions, gaining recognition for his clarity, precision and musical maturity. His prizes include:
