Iva Kosić: Rising Star of Classical Guitar

Iva Kosić is a classical guitarist from Belgrade, Serbia, whose expressive playing, strong online presence and inspiring path have attracted international attention.

Early Musical Journey

Born in the Serbian capital, Iva began her musical education at the age of eight. She first studied violin at a local music school before discovering her true passion for the classical guitar. Growing up with a self-taught guitarist as a father, she became familiar with many guitar pieces even before she started playing the instrument herself.

Passion for Classical Guitar

Iva’s fascination with the guitar goes far beyond technique. She values the way the instrument is held, almost like an embrace, and is inspired by the wide range of sound colors it offers. For her, even a single note can be shaped in many different ways depending on touch and articulation.

Online Growth and Community

Iva’s online success began when she started sharing videos of her favorite pieces. Within only a few weeks she gained around 10,000 followers. Messages from people who began learning guitar because of her videos are especially meaningful to her. Collaborations with other creators and partnerships with selected companies are now an integral part of her artistic work.

Key Musical Inspirations

Among Iva’s favorite music is a theme from Hayao Miyazaki’s film “Howl’s Moving Castle”. However, the composition that influenced her the most is the “Etude in E minor” by Francisco Tárrega. Hearing this work at the age of ten made her fall in love with classical music and convinced her to devote herself fully to the classical guitar.

Travel Dreams and Future Plans

In addition to her studies in Germany and visits to family and friends, Iva dreams of performing in places such as Bora Bora, Cuba and Brazil. After completing her Master’s degree, she plans to continue expanding her YouTube channel and other platforms. While the guitar remains her main focus, she is also interested in fashion, fitness and content creation and aims to combine these fields in a coherent artistic vision.

An Inspiring Artistic Path

The story of Iva Kosić is shaped by passion, persistence and a deep love of music. Her work shows how the classical guitar can reach a global audience through digital media and inspire listeners around the world.

Your next step is a real classic

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
