Vienna

He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) with the highest grade and is now studying for his master’s with Prof. Nejc Kuhar. Masterclasses with Paolo Pegoraro, Judicaël Perroy, Álvaro Pierri and Hubert Käppel have shaped him further.

A long competition record

The list is unusually long for a player of his age. First prizes at the 30th FORUM Gitarre Wien and the 22nd Altamira Competition in Gorizia, both in 2025, second prize at the Aalborg International Guitar Festival in the same year, third prize at the Dutch Guitar Foundation Competition in Groningen and second in Sarajevo in 2026. Before that came first prizes at the Alirio Díaz competition in Rust, the Franz Cibulka competition in Graz and VelEspaña in Velenje, all in 2023, and the Harmonia Cordis competition in Romania in 2022.

Duo Chameleon

With the Polish guitarist Kamil Anioł he forms Duo Chameleon. Together they took the Grand Prix at the Baltic Guitar Days in Szczecin in 2023 and first prize at the 33rd Iserlohn International Guitar Festival in 2025 – the final we recorded in cooperation with the festival, where they played Brahms’s Theme and Variations Op. 18.

On stage, and in the classroom

He has played at the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus in Vienna, at the Slovenian Philharmonic, in the Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom and at the Ljubljana Opera House, as a soloist, as a chamber musician and with orchestra.

Alongside the concert career he teaches and gives masterclasses, among others at Guitar Styria, at the MUK in Vienna, at FORUM Gitarre Wien and at the Joseph Haydn Private University. His teaching concentrates on sound quality, technical efficiency, clarity and coordination – and on each student finding an identity of their own.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
