Philipp Romacker
Philipp Romacker has been surrounded by music since early childhood. Before discovering the guitar, he began trumpet lessons at the age of four and later added piano studies to his musical training.
At the age of thirteen he found his way to the guitar, and only three years later he received a prize at the national competition Jugend musiziert. His rapid progress led him to leave school shortly afterward. Thanks to an excellent entrance examination, he was admitted to Dr. Hoch’s Conservatory in Frankfurt am Main without a high school diploma.
There he studied music with guitar as his main subject under Thomas Bittermann and Stephan Werner, completing his Bachelor of Music in 2017. Since 2019 he has continued his artistic development in Stuttgart, pursuing a master’s degree in guitar with Mateus Dela Fonte.
Philipp regularly refines his playing in national and international masterclasses. He has worked with renowned guitarists including David Russell, Ana Vidovic, Marcin Dylla, Scott Tennant, and Bill Kanengiser, among many others.
Performing at Siccas Guitars
Every classical guitarist who performs at Siccas Guitars brings a distinct musical path to the instrument — shaped by years of study, competition experience, and the particular musical tradition they have chosen to inhabit. The classical guitar demands sustained technical commitment and a deep engagement with a repertoire that spans from the Renaissance through to works written for living performers. It is an instrument whose full possibilities only reveal themselves over time.
