Violaine Sananes
I started studying music at the Conservatoire de Musique in Marseilles and I am also a former student of the Conservatoire Maurice Ravel in Paris. After that, I studied at HEAR in Strasbourg and got a master degree in performance from the Amsterdam Conservatory. As a child I started studying classical music out of mere curiosity, but very soon music started taking up an important place in my life. My relationship to the guitar and to music has developed enormously throughout my life and it continues to do so as I explore the new openings it offers me. Learning music is for me a never-ending mission: one can never stop finding new horizons and I love being able to keep on broadening my knowledge through study, research, practice and teaching. It is really fascinating to think that, even after a life dedicated to music, we will always be surprised by the insatiable need and willingness to achieve new objectives and above all to be able to give the best of ourselves to serving it.
