About the Guitar Maker Raphaelle Dantone

Raphaelle Dantone, born in 1993 in Bolzano, lives in the picturesque Fassa Valley in the Dolomites. Surrounded by vast forests, he developed a passion for working with wood at an early age. After several years as a carpenter, a formative workshop with renowned guitar maker Mirko Borghino sparked his interest in classical guitar making.

This pivotal experience led him to enroll at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria di Milano. After completing his studies, Raphaelle refined his skills under the guidance of master violin maker Daniele Marrabello, focusing on construction techniques, sound quality, and meticulous craftsmanship.

Today, he runs his own workshop in the Dolomites, where he continues to create exquisite instruments that reflect his deep connection to wood and his dedication to tonal excellence.
