Angelo Vailati belongs to the younger generation of highly qualified Italian luthiers, who have already established themselves internationally and are among the most outstanding representatives of the Italian guitar building scene. After learning from the best and acquiring knowledge under the guidance of Enrico Bottelli, José Luis Romanillos, and Daniele Chiesa, Angelo opened his own workshop in Bologna, Italy. His guitars are strongly inspired by the great masters of the guitar-building tradition. The craftsmanship is precise, delicate and allows him to express his great talent in building tasteful guitars.
The Angelo Vailati 2024 is an exceptional Granada-style concert guitar, meticulously handcrafted by the luthier with original design elements that captivate both visually and acoustically. Featuring a soundboard made from the finest Swiss spruce and back and sides crafted from Indian rosewood, this model enhances its aesthetic with materials that elevate both sound quality and appearance. Acoustically, it offers a distinctive clarity, combining tight, well-defined basses with sweet, melodic trebles that harmonize beautifully, resonating with intricate timbral nuances that make it highly expressive and a joy to play.
