About the luthier
Jonas Anatol Schneele discovered his passion for guitar making early on as an enthusiastic guitarist. After completing an apprenticeship as a carpenter, he followed his fascination for wood and sound and trained as a plucked instrument maker at the technical college in Mittenwald, graduating in 2007. From 2013 to 2016, he deepened his knowledge of acoustics, restoration, innovative construction techniques, and musical instrument design through further studies at the College of Musical Instrument Construction in Markneukirchen. In 2017, he successfully completed his master craftsman’s examination in Mittenwald. Today, Jonas Schneele is one of the promising new generation of German luthiers, known for his precision craftsmanship, balanced tonal aesthetics, and thoughtful innovations.About the guitar

While it incorporates contemporary elements, it is rooted in traditional construction principles, using a fan bracing system with crossbars—a design that shows some similarity to lattice bracing, yet remains unique in its own approach. A key structural feature is the double-sided construction, which enhances the guitar’s projection and tonal power. It responds quickly and cleanly to right-hand attack, making it highly playable and expressive, particularly in demanding musical contexts. The elevated fingerboard further improves access to the upper register, making the instrument especially suitable for modern concert repertoire. How do I properly care for my classical guitar?
A classical guitar requires constant humidity between 45 and 55 percent. Store the instrument in its case with a humidifier, avoid direct sunlight and large temperature fluctuations. Change the strings regularly and clean the guitar with a soft microfiber cloth.
