Overview
Overview
Lisa Weinzierl is one of the most talented luthiers of the new generation. After her training as a guitar maker at the renowned instrument-making school in Mittenwald, she gained experience with many established guitar makers such as Gernot Wagner, Andreas Kirschner, Gert Esmyol, Peter Ziegler, Christopher Schuetz, and Leo Sprenger. With her master craftsman diploma in plucked instrument making, Lisa received a gold medal and the master craftsman award from the Bavarian state government. Lisa is currently working for the London instrument and bow makers W.E. Hill and Sons under the direction of Stefan-Peter Greiner and Robert Brewer Young. In this creative and vibrant workshop, she builds her guitars.
Each facet of this guitar attests to Weinzierl's unwavering commitment to quality and her unparalleled mastery over her craft. It is no surprise that, given the meticulous attention and labor that goes into each piece, her annual creations are limited to a select few.
Embellished with a pristine French polish, Lisa's guitars are more than just instruments; they are an embodiment of tradition and innovation. The intricate traditional bracing, the elevated fingerboard, and the impeccably contoured neck with its distinct German "V" joint, showcase the zenith of luthier artistry. Paired with the elite Scheller tuners, crafted in Germany, the guitar's craftsmanship radiates elegance and superiority in every detail.
But its true magic lies in the intimate experience it offers. This guitar isn't just an instrument; it's a siren song, an ode to the sublime. Its tone is a whispered lullaby, weaving an enchanting spell that evokes pure emotion. The depth of its E/F main resonance gifts it bass notes that are profound, yet hauntingly mellow. Yet, for all its depth, the guitar retains a remarkable balance, a feat rarely achieved in low-resonance instruments.
Beyond its rich tonal palette, this guitar is an acoustic powerhouse, delivering a volume that belies its traditional build, making it ideal for concert stages. Its ergonomics are second to none: a delight for the left hand, while offering intuitive control for the right, ensuring that every performance is seamless, be it on a grand stage or in the intimate corners of one's abode.
A timeless treasure for those privileged to encounter its charm.
