Overview

"Toni De Stefano was born in Milan in 1975. At the age of 24, he enrolled at the School of Instrument Making in Milan, where he learned the demanding craft of guitar making. After five years of intensive study and a diploma specializing in early musical instruments, he began a post-graduate internship in Bologna in 2004 in the workshop of violin maker Anna Radice. Today, he builds handmade guitars in his workshop in the Siena region and produces a wide range of fine replicas of old instruments, including lutes, baroque guitars, romantic guitars, and, of course, the wonderful models of Antonio de Torres.

"This guitar combines simplicity and elegance in its purest form. With its floral cypress scent, it is a real nose catcher. In addition, the matte finish creates a direct connection between the guitarist and the instrument. The attractive Torres design, colorful rosette, and featherweight construction make this guitar exceedingly lovely. The construction of this guitar was completed by Toni De Stefano in 2019. Since then, this instrument has been in his workshop as a reference guitar and is therefore new with only a few fine, superficial playing marks.

"What a beautiful tone and authentic playing experience. The trebles develop with clarity, and a wonderful smoothness and grace. Confident bass and richly fleshed mids round out the fantastic sound of this very special Torres replica.

While this guitar is sold, these are ready for you

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
