Overview

Yunah Park’s 2024 Concierto is a traditionally built spruce and Indian rosewood guitar with an open, airy and richly developed Spanish voice. Deep basses, bright flexible trebles and clear inner registers give the instrument both colour and definition, while its mature resonance allows notes to bloom freely without losing focus. Excellent intonation and responsive voice control support lyrical phrasing, transparent chords and complex polyphonic textures. In excellent original condition, with no cracks or repairs.

More details about the guitar

About the luthier

Yunah Park began studying the guitar at the age of sixteen in Seoul, an experience that soon developed into a lasting commitment to the instrument. After completing her first Bachelor’s degree in Korea, she moved to Spain to continue her studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Óscar Esplá in Alicante, where she graduated under the guidance of guitarist Nacho Rodes.

She later moved to Madrid to train as a guitar maker in the traditional manner under Maestro Ángel Benito Aguado. Her apprenticeship began with the close study of leading Spanish makers from the early twentieth century and gradually expanded to repair work, technical drawing, the development of new construction concepts and, ultimately, the building of her own instruments.

Park’s guitars are conceived around a full, far-reaching sound that responds to the needs of contemporary performers while preserving the colour and expressive flexibility of the Spanish tradition. Her aim is to combine deep basses, bright and pliable trebles, comfortable playability and sufficient projection for large halls. Every instrument is made personally by hand from carefully selected woods, chosen for their elasticity, visual character and acoustic potential.

About the guitar

This 2024 Concierto model is a traditionally constructed guitar with a spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides. Its voice is open, airy and richly developed, with a refined Spanish character that combines tonal colour with a clear sense of projection.

The sound has matured into a particularly free and resonant state. Notes bloom readily after the attack, allowing overtones to gather around the fundamental without obscuring its contour. This gives the guitar an elegant spaciousness, while the individual voices remain sufficiently focused to be shaped independently.

The basses are deep and supportive, the trebles carry with brightness and flexibility, and the inner registers retain clarity within chords and contrapuntal textures. Its response is quick enough to support rhythmic precision, yet the tone also has the elasticity needed for sustained phrasing and subtle colour changes.

A strong sense of musical control defines the instrument across the fingerboard. Different voices can be brought forward or allowed to recede naturally, and the even intonation supports clean melodic movement through changing registers. The result is a guitar that feels both expressive and composed, with enough resonance for lyrical playing and enough focus for complex polyphonic writing.

Condition

The guitar is in excellent condition and shows normal signs of careful use. It is free from cracks and repairs and remains in original condition.

Frequently Asked Questions About Classical Guitars

How do I choose the right classical guitar for my level?

Choosing the right classical guitar depends on your playing level, musical goals, and budget. Beginners benefit from studio-model guitars from renowned workshops, while advanced players and professionals often choose a handmade master guitar. We are happy to advise you personally and can send detailed sound samples and videos on request.

What is the difference between a master guitar and a studio guitar?

Master guitars are built entirely by hand in the workshop of a single luthier, using only high-quality, well-aged tonewoods. Studio guitars are made in small series, often under the supervision of the master luthier, and offer excellent value for students and ambitious amateur players.

Can I try a classical guitar at home for 14 days?

Yes — every guitar you purchase from us comes with a 14-day home approval period. This complimentary trial applies worldwide to all orders, whether you are in Germany, Europe, the USA, Asia or anywhere else. We ship your instrument fully insured in a high-quality case so you can play it under your own acoustic conditions. If the guitar is not the right one for you, simply send it back and receive a full refund of the purchase price.

Can I try a classical guitar before purchasing?

Absolutely. You are warmly invited to visit our showroom in Karlsruhe, Germany, and test the instruments at your leisure. We are happy to schedule a personal appointment. If a visit is not possible, we send detailed videos and sound samples, and offer extensive consultation by phone or video call.

What payment methods and financing options do you offer?

We accept bank transfer, PayPal, major credit cards, and Klarna. For high-value instruments, we offer individual installment plans on request. Please contact us directly — we will find a suitable solution for every budget.

How do I properly care for my classical guitar?

A classical guitar requires constant humidity between 45 and 55 percent. Store the instrument in its case with a humidifier, avoid direct sunlight and large temperature fluctuations. Change the strings regularly and clean the guitar with a soft microfiber cloth.
