Francisco Muñoz is one of the most outstanding guitar makers of the newer Spanish generation. Based in the historic city of Granada, the hometown of many important guitar makers and source of inspiration for guitarists for many generations, Francisco Munoz gained international recognition for his outstanding work at the 2nd International “Antonio Marin Montero” Guitar Making Competition, for which he was awarded the first prize.
Already the appearance of this stunningly built guitar reveals why this model received an award at the guitar building competition. The instrument is tastefully decorated and the fine inlay work, which was carried out with utmost precision, gives the instrument a gorgeous and unique aesthetic. The sound of this Homenaje model impresses with its powerful and well-balanced sonority. The pleasantly crisp basses support the clear and singing trebles excellently and the playing feel is spot on. All in all, this is a traditionally built guitar of the highest level, which is very versatile and spreads a lot of playing enthusiasm.
