Overview
Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been building guitars since the age of fourteen. He was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany, the son of a guitar maker, where he grew up with guitars at an early age. Over the years he developed a great passion and expertise for this instrument. Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been living and working in China for several years, where he builds handmade guitars of astonishing quality in a small manufactory.
This lovely “Torres 77” is a real joy to play. Smaller bodied and offering a unique playing experience, this model is light, responsive, and has a surprisingly grand volume. Granadillo back and sides and a high gloss PU finish have been chosen for this handmade “Torres 77” opus. Moreover, the spruce top is of excellent quality, with bear claws and beautiful grain.
